In science we have made eco-columns. That is an aquarium under a terrarium. We have many biotic features such as fish plants and even bugs. We also have many abiotic features such as dirt and water. We have many biotic features that have given birth. Like our worm when we got her she hatched an egg (it died because it fell and got buried under the dirt). We also have a worm in the terrarium she is pregnant I know because she had a pouch and I know that means she is pregnant because they taught us at a farm. Many things have died by now such as our fish and many of our isopods.
In our eco-columns everything depends on each other. The crickets need the grass as food. The snails need algae to eat. The plants in the water need the snails carbon dioxide which is what snails give and the snails take the oxegyn which is what the plants give. The bugs in the terrarium use the dirt to burrow and shelter like some bark and rocks that we have.
Do you have any living or non living thing you depend on?
Have you changed over time like our aquariums?
