Book Challenge

  In class we have a book challenge.  We have to read 30 books and 18 books we pick have to be a certain genre.  I think that it is really hard for most kids and for me I have troubles with some genres and with others I don't.  Historical fiction is a hard genre for since I don't really get caught in books by that genre.  But I really like books that are realistic fiction like Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

  My favorite book that I have read is the one I am reading right now.  It is called My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George.  It is a classic about a boy that run away and is living in the wilderness with the Baron Weasel and his Frightful.  As you probably know the Baron Weasel is a Weasel but, Frightful is a Duck Hawk that he stole at birth.  I think that it is a good book because I really like adventure which is basically this kids life.
